Careful analytics of the Blackberry, Ipaq, I-phone, Palm, and Treo devices signal the scurry of activity day after day after long day. Swollen with conference calls, cold calls, meetings, presentations, seminars, trainings, and travel to and fro...we rise early and retire later. Each day is filled with red lines of over lapping appointments and to do items that warrant our conviction and sincerity. We are ensconced in a disruptive manipulation of time. Congress even hijacked the calendar. Don’t believe me... do the research. Vendors and devices are still feeling that move. Click. Perhaps we’ve lost a bit...past. Make a bold move. Push back or do away with at least one activity...present. Professionally. Select the one where you are providing another complimentary $100 consulting session for a $3 cup of coffee. Clack. Rocking chair results (defined): Moving about faster and faster finding oneself in the same position/place (thanks Barry Evans). Learn when to rev up or slow down. Never squander the resources that drive motion and bring about results. Create and protect your network. Place value in your voice. I do. Talking with yields connections, results or both. Your efforts are more than an incidental. I know you hear me. I refrain from blaming you ...don’t blame me. It’s Monday – your day – let’s keep it moving!
