 I have just one minute to get your attention. I want you to consider taking three actions that
may contribute to our legacy tomorrow.
We are living in a virtual
world connected only by our email addresses, Facebook, LinkedIn, or Twitter
IDs. How do we leverage these relationships to improve the impact of our
actions? In the Information Age, what we do in this electronic environment will
shape our legacy for tomorrow.
Here are three
actions that will yield positive outcomes:
Often, we reduce our
assessment to "What's in it for me?"
- Will I have more peace and
satisfaction?
- Will my children have a better life?
- Will my community be
stronger?
- Will I become more
prosperous?
We come together in social networks to help answer a resounding "Yes" to
all those questions. The important thing is to continue expanding our
connections by sharing. The key action is sharing. If it is to be, it
is up to me.
The key to economic empowerment is to leave no stone unturned. If you have
read this far, the biggest failure would be to not share this with anyone else.
We must think collaboratively, and not selfishly, to improve our outcomes.
