For writers, artists, and journalists who like to keep it "short and sweet." Our ultimate aim is to provide a ministry of freedom for incarcerated black men and women by using the creative arts so they can live the lives that God intended and not the lives that America imposed upon them.

Our hearts are wide open to African American prisoners, men and women, across the nation and the world. The purpose of our venture is not only to help develop new talents and skills amongst the prison population, but to help them find a place for the talents that many of them have likely had all along. Open Book Ministries is an open book, and we hope to not only help reduce recidivism by allowing these prisoners and their families room for creative expression, but hope to one day fulfill a dream of extending opportunities for ownership and investment in a new kind of medium that seeks to serve the lost and help them to overcome that which hinders them and causes them not to live out God's potential in their lives.
