Founded as an instrument of social change in 1932 by Myles Horton, the
Tennessee-based Highlander Folk School was attended by the likes of
Rosa Parks, Martin Luther King, Jr., Stokely Carmichael and many more
-- and also the launching pad for Civil Rights-era anthems like "We
