That is the same and exact attitude black people take to their graves leaving behind no business for their children to inherit and no trust funds to help ease their way.
When black children grow up in the struggle with the attitude that "nobody never gave me nothing" it is because of the legacy left behind. by.....

You put your finger on the essence of what happens when an individual -- especially a Black person in America -- goes through life with this philosophy. That is because a person with this attitude also reflects the exact opposite -- "I don't owe anybody else anything."
So, they leave nothing positive behind.
