Ad Design Tips That Work

Posted by EastLake Marketing Group in Untagged

Marketing your business requires more than just online presence. You also have to market your business offline as well. Here are a few tips that I have utilized that work .

When designing print ads trying these ideas will get you a better response. Start with a headline that states what you are offering. Your headline is the first thing a prospect notices, so make sure you announce what you are attempting to sell. Cute headlines may be creative, but they don't work. Potential customers almost never understand ads that have vague headlines.

Do You Have An Information Packet?

Posted by EastLake Marketing Group in Untagged

There is a simple marketing strategy for attracting potential customers to your business. Let me tell you what is. It's called information. Most people want at least some basic information about your product or service before spending their hard-earned dollars. They will want even more information before making any kind of substantial purchase.

Create an information packet about your company. Include a welcome letter, brochure, brief company history, flyers, coupons, free gift, etc. Give as much information about your company as you can. Hire someone if you don't have the skills to do this.

Growing Your E-Mail List

Posted by EastLake Marketing Group in Untagged

Persuading people to opt in can be a challenge. One way to help is to offer something for free in exchange for an e-mail address.

Some free things to offer:

a newsletter

an e-zine

a whitepaper

a free chapter of a e-book

You should put this free offer on the entry page of your website. Post it where it can be seen. Make the offer compelling enough to make them want to give out their e-mail address. Respect the privilege you have been given. Don't start spamming or selling your new-found database. This will cause you to be blocked to ever sending anything to them again. All your hard work and

Smelling The Roses

Posted by EastLake Marketing Group in Untagged

What ever happened to taking our time? You know just relaxing, not hurrying about. Everybody is in such a darn rush to get somewhere or to do something. So much so, we have terms for it. The "Early bird catches to worm", means get up at the crack of dawn or you'll miss out. Miss out on what? The term " I need it yesterday", means give it to me right now. Needing it yesterday is not even possible when you think about. If it was needed yesterday than why didn't you do it yesterday?

I made a promise to never rush anything unless I'm paid to do so. My time is valuable to me. If I have to rush,

Small Business Level Four Ps Of Marketing

Posted by EastLake Marketing Group in Untagged

The Four Ps Of Marketing. What are they? If you have ever hired a marketing professional you most definitely have heard the term. I will now explain how to use The Four Ps at the Small Business level.

Product - Mass production of a product or service will put any small business out of business with the quickness. Small business owners cannot afford to mass produce, at least not at the start-up, and two to three year phase. It is best and more cost effective to find a niche of folks that want to buy what your company offers.

Price - Well that is up to you really. Only you get to

The Human Brand

Posted by EastLake Marketing Group in Untagged

Oprah Winfrey  announced in an interview that she and her best friend Gayle King are just friends and not lovers, or a couple. Why on earth would anyone care about Oprah's love life? I'll tell you why, because Oprah is a brand. That's right. Oprah is a billion dollar brand. And consumers want to know everything about their brand, even who they are sleeping with. So what did Oprah do? She did the right thing, she told the world (her audience) the plain and simple truth, that if she was indeed a lesbian she would say so. It has been proven that female friendships have a deep bond that most

After The Sale

Posted by EastLake Marketing Group in Untagged

You went to the networking event and met a potential customer, and they really seemed interested in purchasing your product or service. So you courted them with your marketing and sales skills. After some time passed the day came when they signed on the dotted line and actually became your customer.

Congratulations, you now have a new customer. You worked hard to get this customer. Now what do you do after the sale?

Immediately send them a thank you note. In fact the moment you had that feeling this was going to be your new customer, you should have wrote a thank you note, addressed it,
