Now is the Time to change the landscape!

With our nation and communities facing tremendous challenge and a need for competent leadership, now is the time for Black businesses owners to fill the gap.  No longer can Black businesses simply sit back and take in the benefits created by others on their behalf.  This is especially true of those businesses that do business with cities and local communities lead by Black and minority leaders.

You better Recognize--Black Business Do Support the Black Community

Black-owned businesses operate in neighborhoods that are 44% Black and 35% of them operate in high poverty areas. Consequently, Black businesses can bring a community return on investment through job creation, taxes, benefits, etc. They are in fact, the employer of last resort for some in their communities because they hire people, for assorted reasons, with less than perfect credentials and support organizations that do not measure up to United Way standards.
