LABOR FOR CHANGE - HATS ON FOR OBAMA!Posted by Delores in Untagged |

The first national observance of Labor Day was proclaimed on September 3, 1894 by President Grover Cleveland and honored only federal workers in Washington DC and the states. Today Labor Day recognizes all those who labor and it is celebrated the first Monday in September. It is a day off from work for many. I will use the day to create handmade (crochet) Obama hats to raise funds for Obama for America.
