Hello. I hope this e-mail finds you doing well. I love the bible. Especially reading about the battles that God's chosen people fought. It was interesting to me when they called in their woman leaders to lead them in battle. Have you ever seen a woman pissed off&ready to fight? She is no joke.  I say this to say you should be no joke in every battle that you come up against, whether you are a man or woman, take a note from the woman leaders of old. I recently was reminded of this fact when I got a cold last week. At one point i couldnt breathe.

Over and over again people are still asking 'what is Pres. Obama gonna do?' when his answer was to rise to the top of the U.S. mantle and provide leadership and direction. He has done that. I may not be down with all he has done or promoted, or impressed with some of those he has surrounded himself with, but he's still my 'brotha' and I acknowledge that I too have a responsibility and opportunity to incite change under his administration where I live and even abroad.

For many years now I have opined, discussed, shared and elaborated out loud what Black America; and the Diaspora could do for

Antoinette Harrell led a Mississippi Delta Poverty Tour in which she took several members of the media, academia, government, activist, and college students.

They got to see the extreme poverty in the delta up close. I am blessed again to interview Atoinette Harrell about her experiences on the tour. Also joining us this time will Professor Rebecca Hensley from Southeeastern Louisiana University.
