With the Primary in Pennsylvania fast approaching it appears that PA. Governor Ed Rendell was right when he stated that white voters in his state would not vote for a black man. EastLake Marketing Group

There is a simple marketing strategy for attracting potential customers to your business. Let me tell you what is. It's called information. Most people want at least some basic information about your product or service before spending their hard-earned dollars. They will want even more information before making any kind of substantial purchase.

Create an information packet about your company. Include a welcome letter, brochure, brief company history, flyers, coupons, free gift, etc. Give as much information about your company as you can. Hire someone if you don't have the skills to do this.

Persuading people to opt in can be a challenge. One way to help is to offer something for free in exchange for an e-mail address.

Some free things to offer:

You should put this free offer on the entry page of your website. Post it where it can be seen. Make the offer compelling enough to make them want to give out their e-mail address. Respect the privilege you have been given. Don't start spamming or selling your new-found database. This will cause you to be blocked to ever sending anything to them again. All your hard work and

WASHINGTON - A US federal appeals court has overturned the death sentence passed against human rights campaigner Mumia Abu-Jamal, while upholding his conviction for the murder of a police officer.

In a split decision, the three-member Philadelphia appeals court ruled that Abu-Jamal, a former radio journalist and member of the Black Panthers, should face a new sentencing hearing or have his sentence commuted to life in jail.

Abu-Jamal, born Wesley Cook, was sentenced to death in 1982 for the murder of a Philadelphia police officer the year before.

Vince Lombardi

"He is well known as being unequivocally committed to winning. One of his most famous maxims is 'Winning isn't everything; it's the only thing', although he did not coin the phrase and the exact words he used are disputed.

Winning isn’t everything; it’s the only thing is a well-known quote in sports. Some people think the quote exemplifies a form of unfettered competitiveness that has permeated American sports. Its assertion about the importance of winning has been touted as a basic tenet of the American sports creed and, at the same time, singled out as
