It's your friendly neighborhood "Digital Drummer" again...smile

According to the University of New Hampshire's Center for Venture Research (CVR), Angel investors continue to be the number one source of seed and startup capital for entrepreneurs. A total of 55,480 entrepreneurial ventures received Angel funding in 2008, a modest 2.9% decrease from 2007, and the number of active investors in 2008 was 260,500 individuals, virtually unchanged from 2007.

Tiger Woods is #1, golf still a white sport

In the 12 years since Tiger Woods won his first Masters there has not been another African American who has managed to breakthrough and gain membership on the PGA Tour. This despite efforts by the PGA to reach out to African Americans.

At least on the men's side there is Tiger. There are no black women at all on the LPGA. Read the entire story by clicking the link below:

As I explained in my previous blog entry, my ex-wife informed me of her intent to terminate our 13+ year marriage in October of 1998 after I admittedly neglected her emotional and emotional needs, which evidently led to her meeting a co-worker who began to give her the attention that she truly deserves - while I was primarily focused on my responsibility and privilege of being a "Stay-At-Home Dad" and the "Primary

Evolution of the Home Office

The current state of our economy has resulted in great change for American business.  It has also meant a change in the fundamentals of business operation.  The Home Office, once identified as a place for new start-ups and cottage industry type business, has grown to now include corporate executives and entrepreneurs alike.   Home offices have become less of a convenience and more often a necessity.

The Internet, video conferencing, picture mail and other new technology, have made it possible to accomplish as much from a home office as can be accomplished from any corporate facility.

As one who is always concerned about the welfare of others as well as  self, I was quite pleased to be invited to review the site I am telling you about today. In addition to an outstanding product introduction, there is an outstanding and incredible delivery system intro as well.   I have known for a long time that pills of any kind, were a  waste in terms of efficiency and effectiveness, because of their inability to dissolve and assimulate into the blood stream.  Liquids were, slightly better, but  still had a large measure of waste associated with them and both had to enter the body's

Why are you wearing a Rock?

Posted by ljbelljr in Untagged

Unless you live under a rock, chances are you have been personally impacted by the current recession that the United States and the world is experiencing globally. Truth be told, you may even opt for a comfortable spot underneath a rock with the hopes of waiting for an optimal time to crawl out from the beneath the rock unscathed. During these times, I revert back to something my father always told me which simply stated that if you are not moving forward, chances are you are moving backwards. Although the rock may seem comfortable and protecting any savings you may have been able to salvage

I Need Some Money!

Posted by ljbelljr in Untagged

Quite often I am asked the question, is it easier to get $1,000,000 or $100,000? Most of the time my answer is, it depends. It depends on what is the purpose for borrowing the money.

Case in point, if you are seeking to purchase a home, you will be required to submit the following documentation: W2, tax returns, pay stubs, bank statements, credit report, rental / mortgage payment history. If you are seeking a business loan, you will have to submit the same information along with some additional information: a business plan, Profit & Loss statement, and a rent roll & cash flow statement
