The newest wave of consumer rip-off has come by the way of "stripped" retail packaging (buy camera or computer laptop, but- without the normal retail package accessories; battery and case are not included (however they'll be happy to sell them to you at over-inflated prices). Any time a company selling over the internet makes you call to confirm your order, beware... they are probably selling "stripped" packaging and trying to add additional products to your order.  Companies advertising ridiculously low prices may be guilty of this practice so beware. Christopher Wallace The Notorious B-I-G, Don’t Go

I had the opportunity Sunday to see the Movie, "The Notorious" based on the life and times of Rapper, Biggy Smalls who was shot dead in Oakland California several years back.  Myself, I was also born in Brooklyn but raised in Queens, New York. I could relate to Chris's dreams and music.  To my way of thinking Christopher Wallace was the Langston Hughes of Gangster Rapp from Brooklyn. There was something special that Christopher added to rap music that made his stories more convincing to me. He sounded authentic and one just knew Biggy had experienced it all, though,

Chinese exporters are asking to charge in yuan instead of dollars, because the U.S. currency is losing value. 'Israeli air strikes represent massive violations of international law'

The Israeli air strikes on the Gaza Strip represent severe and massive violations of international humanitarian law as defined in the Geneva Convention, both in regard to the obligations of an occupying power and in the requirements of the laws of war.

 

Those violations include:

 

Collective punishment – the entire 1.5 million people who live in the crowded Gaza Strip are being punished for the actions of a few militants.

 

Targeting civilians – the air strikes were aimed at civilian areas
