As a black man working for a private company as a district manager in the mid 90's, I was around several Independently wealthy individuals that already had successful lives and more free time than they knew what to do with. Often times I would get invited to go on fishing trips on the Gulf of Mexico for 2 weeks at a time on my friends' private boats and Yachts. I was only able to do that 2 to 3 times a year due to my work schedule. No problem, I wasn't born with big money or an opportunity to even get a ride to school when I was younger, so that was great to me to even have the opportunity
