Posted by gcuse03champs in Untagged

Sarah Palin is a new political superstar. She is said to have more experience than Barack Obama but one thing she does not have is much of a civil rights record outside of gay rights issues. She also has a very Republican view on hate crimes legislation and gay marriage. Click the link below to learn more:

Michael Steele gives speech at RNC

Posted by gcuse03champs in Untagged

In the interest of being fair and balance I decided to post something positive about African Americans and the RNC. I really wanted to get a black speaker's speech posted. Now being as there are only 36 black delegates out of 2308 it wasn't the easiest thing to do. But I figured that since Michael Steele is the GOPAC ( Grand Old Party Political Action Committee ) chairman that they might just let him speak. They did and hear it is.

Number of black delegates at the RNC drops

Posted by gcuse03champs in Untagged

Of the 2380 delegates at the 2008 Republican National Convention only 36 are African American. That's down from 167 in 2004. You remember 2004 that when the GOP promised to make a honest effort to reach out to more African Americans. Gee I wonder what would have happened if they weren't trying. Read more on this and see a list of the 36 black delegates by clicking the link below:
