In what might at first seem like a ridiculous decision the Federal Justice Department has decided not to charge the six "people" who held and beat a black woman for six days with a hate crime. But they give a very good reason as to why they are not, one that may ultimately lead to the suspects actually doing more jail time than they would under federal hate crime charges Click the link below to read more:

A 20 year old black woman was held by six white people for an entire week, kept in a shed, raped, beaten and forced to eat animal feces and drink out of a toilet to survive. She was rescued by police after someone tipped them off. I wonder if we will see the same type of outrage that was directed at Michael Vick directed at the six white suspects?
