The Little Rock Nine who in 1957 became the first black students at an all-white Central High School in Little Rock, Ark. have now been honored with a commemorative coin. You can see a picture of the coin below and learn how you can purchase it by clicking the link below. The coin cost $39 but I get the feeling that because it probably wont be wanted as much ( right now ) as other coins and very few are being made it will soon be worth a lot more.

First let's take a minute to remember ALL of America's war dead and wounded on this upcoming Memorial Day. Then let's reflect on the sad fact that African American men who put themselves in harms way for THEIR COUNTRY still face discrimination when seeking the health care that they are guaranteed. Now as a former soldier I know what a joke the VA Hospitals can be and it's hard for anyone to get just plain satisfactory care there.
