Black women face higher rates of domestic violence

Here is a very a sad stat that should shock and upset good black men as well as  black women. African-American women experience intimate partner violence at rates 35-percent higher than white women and about 22 times the rate of women of other races.That is sickening and has to stop. John McCain said lipstick on a pig too

It appears that the republicans making a big fuss over Obama's use of the phrase "lipstick on a pig" seem to have forgotten that their candidate John McCain used the same term when discussing Hillary Clinton's health care plan and none of them got upset at that. Florida Republicans boycotting Oprah

In an attempt to force Oprah to interview Sarah Palin The Florida Federation of Republican Women has decided to boycott her show. They are doing this although Oprah made it quite clear that she would have NONE of the candidates on air until after the election.
