We have lost another great African American. This time in the political realm. 58-year-old Stephanie  Tubbs Jones was the first black woman to represent Ohio in Congress and a strong critic of the Iraq war. She suffered the hemorrhage while driving her car in her east side district Tuesday evening.  She died later on. Learn more about her and her achievements by clicking the link

Interracial churches make up only 5% of churches in the United States and half of them are headed toward being all black or all white.  The pastors of these churches are always doing an incredible balancing act to keep everyone happy. A great article makes a few points about this.

*It appears that many Americans regardless of theor color prefer their churches to be segregated.
