Latasha Norman is missing

Latasha Norman a 20 year old black student at Jackson State University in Mississippi has been missing for a week and even the local police chief concedes that the case is not gaining national attention because of the missing persons race. It's very sad that this young lady who has been missing for just one week has gotten almost no news coverage while Natalee Holloway who has been missing for almost 3 years is dominating this Thanksgiving Holiday's news headlines.

Shaw University:

Shaw University,The Nation's First And Oldest Southern, Black University, Was Founded In Raleigh, North Carolina, On November 21 1865, By The American Baptist Home Mission Society.

Originally Called The Raleigh Institute, It Changed Its name In 1870, To Shaw Collegiate Institute To Honor Its Chief Financial Supporter Elijah Shaw Of Wales, Massachusetts.

In 1875, It Was Chartered By The State Of North Carolina As Shaw University.

The School's Original Curriculum Was Established on "freedom theology" And Biblical Interpretation. Within Fifteen

Speaker used n word at March On Hate Crimes

Former mayor Marion Barry of Washington D.C. gave a speech at The March On Hate Crimes in Washington D.C. on 11/16/07 in which he used the n word. I waited a few days to post this to see if it would be mentioned at all by any of the press.

Now I know the march was held on a Friday which is why that except for CNN it got as much coverage as a hog calling contest in Idaho but I know I wasn't the only one that heard it.

Now I understand the context it was used in but at a "March On Hate Crimes" it might be a word that should be avoided. Marion Berry is still very popular in D.C.
