I support Mr. Ballentine in his efforts. It is about time someone took the initiave and took action. I commend Mr. Ballentine for stepping up to the plate to not only talk about these issues, but to also take steps to do SOMETHING about it. However, I think these are issues of great concern for not only African Americans but ALL America’s citizens, no matter the race, color, religion, or creed. They affect the civil rights of all of us, each American citizen. The November 2, Blackout is an excellent opportunity of all the nation’s people to come together and force our government's

Fiance gives woman engagement ring and a kidneyPosted by gcuse03champs in Untagged |
I love this story as it's not often you hear stories of selfless love between African American couples although they happen everyday. A young man has given his fiance not only an engagement ring but a kidney to save her life so that they may have a future together. Even a tough guy like me got misty eyed. The head of the Justice Departments Voting Rights Division John Tanner made the comment that although voter ID laws hurt the elderly they are not a problem for minorities because they often die before old age.
