Hollywood. Tinsel town. The movie business.

For most people, those words invoke images of romance, thrills, heroism, suspense and celebrity. On the other hand, for many Christians today, it generates images of illicit sex, unchecked violence and moral depravity.

I understand this more than most, because I'm a preacher's kid with a Ph.D. in Theology who has grown up in the church. And I've spent nearly 30 years working with Christian leaders

24 THINGS A SISTA SHOULD NEVER APOLOGIZE FOR

1. Never apologize for pursuing what makes you happy. Even if you need to quit your job, transfer schools, or move across country, always do what you really want.

2. Never apologize for using proper English. Keeping it real doesn't mean you have to speak Ebonics.

3. Never apologize for giving your best in a relationship that just didn't work out.

4. Never apologize for being successful. Only haters want to keep you at their level.

5. Never apologize for crying. Wear waterproof mascara and express yourself.

 

The Do’s and Don’ts of Relationships

Do’s are what enhance relationships. Don’ts are what kill relationships. Our surroundings are made up of different people from different backgrounds. Our upbringing, past dating and relationship experiences, etc., all mold our thinking. Even the consequences from our own relationship choices may mold our thinking.
