There are so few truly lazy people in the work arena that this article may well be a matter of 'preaching to the choir' and for that please accept my deepest apologies!

The economic times here in the US and, I suspect, globally among the 'industrial' nations, is challenging for many that are in the lower and middle class income groups. The move from agriculture to industry to information/services has created quite a boom for those that are in the position of creating and/or maximizing the income generating trends [aka global economy] while those of us of the 'working' class are scrambling

Recently I sent an email announcement regarding the launching of a new Small/Home Business Networking site, S-B Global Enterprise Network. Within a few days I received numerous responses saying the mailing list sign up link didn't work. The first replies came from trusted friends so I swiftly assured them I'd add them to the email list and sent another link to the GBC Forum membership page. Upon visiting one of my favorite business networks, Black Business Space, I had another message stating my links didn't work! Needless to say [but I got to say it] I was perplexed!

I checked the

One of the best ways to draw attention to your business is with a press release.  Your goal in writing a press release is to demonstrate to editors and reporters the importance and newsworthiness of your business, product, event, opportunity, or service.

Every press release should include who, what, where, when, why and how.  Think in terms of answering these questions:

1.  Who did the event? or Who said what? or Who is offering the product or service?

2.  What was said or done?

3.  Where did the event take place? or Where is the service offered? or Where can the product be found?

4.  When did

Many small business owners mistakenly believe that using a professional to write their marketing materials, form letters, website copy, ad copy, etc. is beyond the limits of their budgets.  But that couldn't be further from the truth.   Rather than turning to the big marketing and advertising firms to fulfill their writing needs, small business owners should consider taking advantage of the benefits offered by using a freelance writer.

The advantages of using a freelance writer are numerous, so I will share my top four with your here:

1.  Increase Efficiency - A freelance writer can help a

How To Sell Effectively Online: 5 Basic Tips

I am positively not a salesperson by nature. I'm not even a 'shopper' in the sense of getting excited with an invitation to 'shop til you drop!' However, I am a savvy consumer and take great pride in exploring the options of price, style, accessibility and practicality when purchasing just about everything. So with that type of background coupled with my early savings [“Follow The Frugal”] training, the very word 'salesmanship' used to generate a block in my mind. The very nature of business, especially online business where making an awesome

They Cannot Help You

Let me share with you something that will hit home for all people that feel that they are in bondage to other people: They can't help you!!! Why? Every person of the world is out for self. They are looking out for them and them only. They will put down your very being to make themselves feel good! (how selfish is that??)

You will notice, on most social and business networks, 85% of them are promoting their businesses and what it can offer you. They are not trying to find ways to help you grow in the capacity of where you are NOW, they are trying to get YOU to help THEM grow in the capacity

If you’re not familiar with signature files, here’s a quick definition:
Signature files are the few lines of contact information you should be putting at the bottom of each and every email you send. If you are not using signature files you are missing out on the perfect opportunity to promote your business.

How many emails do you send a day? A week? A month? This can add up to many, many opportunities to get your marketing message out to a large audience for free!

Your signature file makes it easy for anyone who comes into contact with one of your email messages to reach you or your website.
