KPI is committed to fostering excellence in academics, and the arts within a vibrant, caring community. We provide our students with a unique opportunity to prepare themselves for the challenges and choices they will face as leaders and citizens of the world. Our cultural arts program helps our students to enhance their natural creativity, to recognize the important connection between mind and body, and to understand their rich cultural heritage, values, traditions and practices.
Like most non-profit independent schools, Kamit Preparatory Institute relies on community support for its ongoing activities. The generosity of community members and friends helps the school to support its graduates in various ways. This year, KPI would like to provide substantial scholarships to our college-bound senior class.
No strangers to the stage, our students have performed at the International African Arts Festival, Scribes Reborn in Brooklyn, KPI’s Spring and Winter concerts and at Kings and Queens of Kamit – a critically acclaimed dramatic presentation of the history of Kamit. They have also incorporated into their repertoire, dances which they themselves have conceptualized and choreographed.
All proceeds from ticket sales will go towards the scholarship fund. Please support our graduating class by purchasing tickets for this event and by encouraging your friends and family to do the same.
Your support will make an incredible difference to our KPI graduates, both today and in the future. A gift to KPI not only supports the programs we currently offer, but also builds an even better institution for future generations.
