Hello Everyone,
I wanted to share with you a little food for thought and then an ACTION to take! We need you!
Black America is on a high from the Covenant with Black America book being published. In some circles, like here on Izania.com, this is the PLAN that will finally take us to the next level. We can finally put down our differences and work together for the common good!
In this same spirit, I have interviewed James Clingman, Jr. of http://www.blackonomics.com/ on my NBBTA radio show, Everyday Finances with Everyday People, hosted by Kim Milton.
His commitment to our continued economic struggle and this new found energy is to urge EVERYONE to sign up for the BMDC, Blackonomics Million Dollar Club.
"I am looking for 200,000 dedicated individuals to commit to being members of the BMDC, which will simply mean that you will send $5.00 to a worthwhile project, institution, or cause, when the call goes out. There will be no more than five calls per year, thus, the cost of being in the BMDC will be no more than $25.00 per year. Of course, we will increase our membership and the number of causes as we progress, but starting out we simply want to show, by doing of course, what can be accomplished by working together, regardless of class, status, or any other superficial barriers that lie between and among us. " James Clingman, Jr.
Simple visit the website, sign up for the Blackonomics Email List, click the pull down menu and select BMDC.
We can do this yall! Our institutions need us, our children's future in this country demands that we start working together NOW! This is one way to ensure that organizations have the dollars they need to survive.
You can listen to my NBBTA radio interview at
http://www.nbbta.org/series.htm?102
Sign up today! You will soon receive an email telling you which African American group of organization to send your $5 to.
Organizations helped in the past:
1. Piney Woods School, http://www.pineywoods.org/home.htm
2. America's Black Holocaust Museum http://www.blackholocaustmuseum.org/founder.html
We are far from 200,000 people because for some reason we hesitate to help each other. We are all we have! Sign up today!
Much Success,
Kimsuccess
