Any minority owned staffing services in Alabama?

All the ones I know about are completely owned by caucasians. And the majority of the people who are employed there are white. There has got to be at least one black owned job recruiting service some where in all the state of Alabama. But where? It would be nice to find one in Birmingham, AL.

Are you criticizing the moderation because no one knows of a Black staffing agency in Alabama? Perhaps there isn't one. Or, none of the participants in this forum know about one. How does that amount to poor moderation?

Have you looked at our Business Directory? There are at at least 16 listings that indicate they offer staffing services. See this link:

I guess there must have been a keyword in my short message that strucj a newrve somewhere, but since you did not inxclude the entire message I cannot be sure which one it is.

I do recall, however, that the topic is SUPPOSED to be about staffing services in Alabama and someone posted a message totally unrelated to that topic. It was not the only such incident, but one so far off the main road that I figured no none must be moderating or someone besides ME would have said something.

I find it quite curios that you would chastise me for making a remark which was made based on a personal observation while ignoring the off topic remarks to which I alluded so briefly.

I guess the forum is moderated indeed after all.
Maybe I was mistaken about what that actually means.

Now, I have nothing against the French, but my mastery of the language is greatly overrated.
At any rate I wondered how could such a message get through if someone was moderating?

Ruckus, please forgive me for creating a misunderstanding. Our forum IS NOT moderated in the sense that we review all posts before they appear. This would create an unnecessary burden for us and a delay in the dialog between members. I did not understand the basis of your comment. I was seeking clarification.

Our forum is somewhat self-moderated. We begin with a trust of all members. If there is something objectionable or in violation of our rules, we remove it. If there are repeat offenders, we ban them. Our administrators do "monitor" the forum casually. Since only a few posts appear on the homepage, it is possible that an objectionable post will scroll off the page before we see it on occasion.

As you have observed, there are some who post irrelevant responses that are unrelated to the subject. If there is something objectionable brought to our attention, we act to keep our forum polite and relevant.

I hope you will continue to participate when there is something important that you want to share with our community. Forgive me if I offended you with my response.
