Is Jehovah witness a cult?
I am not a big fan of the Jehovah witness right now. My aunt has been sick for more than a year and just recently passed away this past weekend. She was a Jehovah witness like the some of my family members. Her life could have been saved had she just taken the blood transfusion she needed to keep her alive. I don't know how powerful this religion is but it must be beyond serious for someone to not take blood transfusion because it is a against Jehovah witness religion to take blood even if it will save the persons life. I could care less about religion when it comes to situations like this. I am upset that she let Jehovah witness religion brainwash her into making a horrible decision to refuse treatment that could have saved her life. I swear this like Jim Jones all over again leading one to drink the kool aid. Jehovah witness is in my opinion no different in this case. As much as we have to respect ones religious belief and their decision to end their life like this, it is still hard. This to me is suicide. Here is what else bothers me. It is a sin to take your own life, but at the same time it is against the religious belief of a witness to take treatment to save their life. I don't get that part. It is a sin to kill yourself then at the same time it is not a sin to kill yourself. I am not a religious person. I'm not atheist either just not religious. Religion seem to cause more harm than good.
