WEBINAR/TELESEMINAR TIPS: First time in an online seminar? You may find these tips helpful:

1. Write down the telephone number or store it in your cell phone. That way, if you find yourself away from your office at the time of the session, you won't miss it.
2. See if your phone has a 'mute' feature, and familiarize yourself with how to use it. If your phone doesn't have a mute feature, you can use the mute function on our teleseminar line. To mute/unmute yourself, hit 6.
3. If you have a headset, use it. You'll be listening for an hour, and it will be more comfortable and easier for you to take notes. Speakerphones are fine also, if you keep yourself on mute.

Right before the call:

1. Minimize distractions to yourself and the other participants. This means putting your children, pets, or other noisy beings in another room. If the room you're calling from has a door, close it. Turn off any radios, TVs or stereos within earshot.
2. If you have call waiting on your phone line, please disable it first by dialing *70 (1170 on some phones), wait for the dial tone, then dial the teleseminar number.
