Given existing data available, there remains wide disparity when it comes to Black businesses receiving equitable receipts of business when public funds are spent. Creative Minds sole purpose is to locate the dots, connect them and foster working relationships across racial lines that address this single issue. Our secondary purpose is to work with local agencies wanting to create programs that prepares small business microenterprise and job training programs for industries of high growth. We can help identify areas of opportunity, funding sources and statistical data to back up the need for such programming and activity.
Disparity in public funded and corporate contracting harms the ability of anyone seeking to advance in this country, build their lives and benefit from the economic activity where they live. We have a solid track-record for successfully working with community groups, Black business interests, local officials and traditional economic development organizations to draft, pass and initiate supportive public policies.
