like you said, i think it's important to focus on what is &quot;newsworthy&quot; when creating a press release.  the more focused the press release, the more effective it will be. (sometimes, just because it is free, people will send out a press release that isn't really saying anything. so don't fall into that trap! you want to leave a good impression about your business.)
