Jamila has produced several award-winning Web sites, including Maryland Public Television's Sense and Dollars -- a personal finance site for kids -- and PBS Wonders of the African World with Henry Louis Gates, Jr., the companion Web site to the internationally acclaimed six-part television documentary.

A summa cum laude graduate of Howard University, Jamila has developed curriculum for and taught E-Commerce and Internet Marketing workshops at Georgetown University’s Networked Media Center and the Women’s Business Center, both in Washington, D.C.

Jamila’s passion for making natural beauty products led her to launch j.blossom and co., Inc., a manufacturer of fun, natural bath and body products for girls, in 2006.

From 1997 to 1999 she owned and operated Brothers & Sisters, a successful Web-based retail mail order business. Since then, she has helped hundreds of businesses launch and further their Internet-based ventures with her consulting and training programs.
