My name is Nicole and I run the family owned business http://www.GurlyGirlDresses.com from Maryland.

I have a Master's degree in Educational Counseling from Prairie View A&M in Prairie View, Texas and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Bilingual Education from Universidad de Sagrado Corazon in Santurce, Puerto Rico.

I was a bilingual education teacher for 7 years in Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Houston and Maryland and a school counselor for 4 years. In March I started GurlyGirlDresses.com with my mother after many years of wondering why it was so hard to find old- fashioned- pretty dresses for my girl to wear to church. We've been at it since then and love it! We sell the dresses at church conferences and online.

I am a married mother of 2 gurly girls.
