Hello,

I just stumbled upon this website. I'm looking to network with people in the accounting/finance field, beauty personal care, or any other interesting fields. I am a non traditional student (I'm old!! I don't look it though, at least I think so) trying to play the catch up game. After working for the same company for a loooong time, I decided to go back to school and major in Accounting. I had no kids, wasn't married and I had family willing to take me in as so I could do it, so I figured that if I didn't do it then, I'd never do it. It seemed like a good idea at the time, but now I'm questioning my decision.......Its just so hard to find a job these days. And being that I have no real accounting experience, it's even tougher. I'm sending our tons of resumes daily, praying that someone will give me a break. This spring will be my last semester in school and I'm looking to find an entry-level accounting job or internship. Paid or unpaid- it doesn't matter I'm just looking to get some experience and go from there.

I also love doing nails and natural hair (braids, twists) so if you are willing to let me practice on you- I'm game. If the accounting thing doesn't work out, most likely I'm going to just become a certified Natural Hair Stylist and try to open my own shop and braiding school. An accounting degree always comes in handy if you plan on opening a business.....

I'm very business minded. I've got tons of ideas for businesses but no money to back it up.
