Those who have been convicted of breaking the law at some point of their life, whether they did it or not, no matter how long ago it was—walk around with a scarlet letter, an X branded on their foreheads forever. Convicts become ex-convicts. Felons become ex-felons. Sex offenders become ex-sexual offenders, drug offender become ex-drug offenders, and the list goes on. The fresh start that society talks about, in reality, rarely occurs when an ex-offender has to disclose a past conviction.

Recent research shows Baby Boomers go through nine (9) kinds of sex in their lifetime...

Now that I'm in the peri-menopausal stage and dealing with vaginal dryness (yes--it's one of the symptoms), I can't help but reflect back on the various stages of my sex life. You know, the times when it was so thrilling--you just couldn't get enough! These days my gynecologist is telling me over time I may lose my desire all together.

Oh Lord! I hope that doesn't happen to me because I'd hate to think I'd wasted the best years of my sex life on my ex!

In recent years some nationally prominent Black leaders have complained that they resent being known as Black leaders, they say they want the world to know they are capable of leading anybody. Rather than demonstrate that leadership by leading their own people to the necessary levels of self- sufficiency and competitiveness, these leaders have abandoned the critical issues facing Black people and have begun to chase an ambiguous romanticized notion of alliances with other groups...
