Of course the email was longer and more involved. The call to action, the wish, was a donation request in the most expensive campaign in history! (perhaps).
The asterisk will be a factor as we close out 2007. The "this is where I ended up, but it wasn’t my fault" type of asterisk. My wish is that we take full and unapologetic responsibility for our position/results. Color code the diary, draw four quadrants on paper, create a pros/cons list..your choice. Just do something that allows the retracing of 2007 steps. In this moment of reflection take all into consideration. The power to decide is yours. Thought will be the most expensive campaign you wage! (probable).
My other wish is that you seriously refrain from sending emails suggesting Bill Gates will send me a check. I tried that back in 1998 and still I wait.
