Trial and Error

In a recent blog post ( http://www.dahgurl.com ) Shawn Mason Spence drafted an interesting piece that included a powerful one liner. She said, "I've thought about plenty, halfway implemented many, but nothing really stuck." Upon reading that phrase, I immediately conducted a team huddle... no sideline coach present. All by myself darting thru deep thought.

My failures surfaced. I’ve played by the rules of the American Dream since 1998. At several points I’d found myself with no savings, no retirement plan, and a growing stack of debt next to the microwave. Where did I lose the moment, momentum, and movement? Not sure. Some wondered if losing a step was painful? In a word...yes!

You too might endure shaky concerns, your worst fears, or the bull in a China shop. Coverage without cost is unrealistic. False escapes are not sustainable. I forced myself to always think it thru. Wrote and continue to write it down. Not long just long enough. Completely implement beyond the pain. Your greatness will soon stick. I felt like I was losing my breath -- it was just a feeling. It’s a part of trial and error. It’s Monday — written oxygen — let’s keep it moving!!
