Unwavering belief in self!

It’s about assenting intellectually with certainty...always is. Today we talk about the fourteen-dollar millionaire (words paint a better picture). Everyone knows Kenneth Cole. He is also socially in tune with issues that play in the space of humans the world over. An icon for some. One of many no doubt. His second start is interesting. After creating his first line of shoes, Cole had two options: take up space at a trade show side by side with thousands of other sellers or set up a fancy showroom.

The first option did nothing to stimulate attention while the latter required much more in resources. Instead, he engineered a bold move, borrowing a 40-foot tractor trailer. He used the trailer as a showroom and sold thousands of shoes over a 72 hour period. Cole spent $14 to change his stationery to read Kenneth Cole Productions. This secured a parking permit within NYC. Permits were only granted to production companies. They believed Cole was filming a movie “The Birth of a Shoe Company."

Whether you like square toes or not, his story is one of unwavering belief in self. Unwavering belief in self! Unwavering belief in self! You have to know that deep within the most ignored molecule of your body that your day will soon arrive and/or return. Not just any day, but the day. The day that causes a reckoning of all your hard work, patience and it’s polar equivalent of persistence. ”It’s Monday — there’s room for you -- let’s keep it moving!
