The War Between Black Children and the World in Which They Live

ImageMany Black children and students are socially and emotionally out of control and are choosing violence and aggression as a way to solve problems in the world in which they live. They swear, fight, vandalize, challenge authority and exhibit other overly-aggressive behaviors.  Too many of these children have little respect for authority and no fear of consequences for their actions.

The New Reality for Diverse Suppliers

ImageI’ve been thinking. If you’ve been thinking it’s more difficult to get real attention from a major organization, you’re not crazy. It’s  true. There is a new reality. There are new rules, new expectations and they all demand a new approach for suppliers. The change is not isolated to diverse suppliers yet the impact on diverse suppliers could be more significant. Obama Wins! -- The Beginning of Transformational Leadership

For Blacks, Economic ‘Reversal’ Began in 2000

ImageJust as the edifices of finance capital began to slip into the abyss, a report shows that the Black American economy went into reverse eight years ago.  The study by the Economic Policy Institute is titled "Reversal of Fortune," and tracks the roller coaster ride from the late Nineties, when Blacks registered real progress in employment, housing and reduction of poverty, to the steady slide backwards that began around the year 2001.
