On April 4, 1968, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Was Shot To Death Outside Of His Room At The Lorraine Motel In Memphis, TN.

He Went To Memphis To Support Black Garbage Workers Who Were On Strike To Protest Unsafe Working Conditions, Abusive White Supervisors And Low Wages.

Just 24 Hours Before His Death, He Gave His Last And Most Prophetic Speech, "I’ve Been To The Mountain Top."

He Was 39 Years Old At The Time Of His Murder.
